You'll have used many of our brands - like Lucozade, Aquafresh, Sensodyne, Ribena, Panadol, Sensodyne and Niquitin which are recognised around the world. In one year we produce six billion tablets for pain relief, 600 million tubes of toothpaste and a billion Ribena and Lucozade bottles per year – and much more.

You can help us grow our market-leading positions in Smoking Control, Denture Care, Dental Sensitivity, Analgesics, and Nutrition. Both our Sales and Marketing Industrial Placements offer a unique opportunity to develop a commercial career working with consumer goods and over the counter brands, many of which are household names and market leaders in their own right.

Marketing Industrial Placements - (you should be studying for a Marketing, Sales or business related degree or combined with any of these subjects).

• Work with senior managers on key marketing programmes such as packaging design, e-marketing, promotions, pricing strategies and new product development
• Keep marketing budgets up to date and monitor any under/over spends on advertising and promotions budgets
• Contribute to the preparation of business presentations and participate in key meetings
• Responsibility for co-ordinating and organising project meetings and actions
• Internal communication and brand activities such as new product launches

Sales Industrial Placements - (you should be studying for a Sales, Marketing or business related degree or combined with any of these subjects).

• Work with Category Managers to deliver in store point of sale materials
• Drive activation of key category brand initiatives
• Work with the sales team with sales data, category strategy and customer research
• Working with IT help to deliver information sharing databases and communication tools
• Support the planning of sales and marketing meetings and trade presentations
• New Product Development launch activities
• Internal communications activities
